ABOUT

About Me

A High-End Mississauga Photographer, Rooted in the Heart of GTA"

My journey begins on the enchanting island of St. Lucia, where I first set foot into this world. From the very start, I was a curious soul, intrigued by people and cultures. It’s this curiosity that eventually led me to Canada in my teenage years, a place I would soon come to cherish for its rich tapestry of diverse cultures and traditions.

While my heart always harbored a deep love for photography, my academic path led me to study marketing in college. Fate, it seems, had other plans for me. Shortly after graduation, I embarked on a remarkable journey as a brand manager for a prominent international company. This role opened the doors to extensive travel across Europe, America, and the Caribbean. What’s more, my trusty camera was a constant companion, capturing the beauty of landscapes, the essence of people, and the vibrant diversity of cultures I encountered.

As I traversed the globe, a realization gradually unfolded: my passion for photography was not just a pastime but a calling. The moments I captured told stories of people, places, and the intricate tapestry of humanity, fueling a profound connection to my craft.

Over the course of the next two decades, I poured my heart and soul into perfecting my skills as a photographer. My landscape work found a place in the spotlight, gracing the pages of Caribbean travel magazines, making appearances in newspaper articles, and even finding a home on television screens. Many of my images also adorn the walls of local restaurants, inviting patrons to journey through visual narratives.

I am immensely proud of the diverse body of work I’ve created, but my heart remains firmly anchored in the realm of portraiture. The art of capturing people’s stories, emotions, and unique personalities continues to be my true passion.

If you’re in search of Mississauga photographer or photography services in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), I invite you to connect with me. Whether you prefer virtual consultations or in-person sessions, I’m here to bring your vision to life through the lens of my camera.

OUR STORY

More of My Story

Over 20 Years...

As a father of two, I have been fortunate to watch the development of my children and capture all of their achievements and changes in portraits. I believe that there has been no better method developed over the decades that celebrates our growth as people than photographic images. When I combine my decades of photography with the skills I acquired in marketing and advertising, I am able to ensure all my clients have creative and interesting portrait images.

My photography services keeps me involved in the community. Special attention is given to the awareness of the elderly amongst us. In partnership with Retirement Residences, I have been able to offer seniors and their families portraits that are memorable and honourable.

My love of the photographic lens is evident. It guides me down every path of life, and I extend myself as a coach to novice photographers searching for hobbies and careers alike who share my love of people, places and things.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind

Posing Tips

1

Shoulder

Avoid a straight shoulder line because it will make you look rigid. Diagonal lines create an appealing effect.

2

Eyes

This creates a connection between you and the person viewing your image. Eye contact projects confidence and self-esteem.

3

Angles

Remember shoulders are the widest part of the body. To slim your profile angle the shoulders to one side.

4

Neck

Stretch your neck forward, like a turtle coming out of it’s shell. It will feel uncomfortable but will enhance your jawline and eliminate the double chin.
